After trouble with a 2h delay, having to wait 5h in the airport of Beijing and booking another flight I arrived in China. I was warmly welcomed by my friend and her family and explored the city for a day.
I experienced the Chinese public transportation and dove into the food culture by having lunch at a small local restaurant filled with old men and grandma cooking.
Although it was cold the sun was out and the shades were on.
